Adam Clarkson is one of four attorneys serving Nevada who are Fellows of Community Association Institute’s College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL). CCAL Fellows are a prestigious group of attorneys who have distinguished themselves through contributions to community association law, and who have committed themselves to high standards of ethical conduct. Of the thousands of attorneys practicing community association law in the United States, fewer than 170 have been granted membership in the College.
Mr. Clarkson is the owner of The Clarkson Law Group, P.C. He is currently licensed and admitted to practice law in NV, FL, CA, SC, UT, the related federal courts, and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Mr. Clarkson’s practice of law is dedicated to representing community associations. He the current chair of the CAI Nevada Legislative Action Committee (LAC), former chair and current member of the CAI Nevada Political Action Committee (PAC), past president and current member of the CAI Nevada Chapter board of directors, the industry representative on the Nevada Department of Business & Industry’s CIC Task Force, a member of the Nevada State Bar Real Property Committee, and a co-author of the Common Interest Community Section of the Nevada State Bar Real Property Practice Manual.

Mr. McAlonis is a partner and supervising senior associate with the Clarkson Law Group, P.C. Mr. McAlonis’ work with The Clarkson Law Group, P.C. includes the representation of community associations in the role of corporate counsel. Prior to joining The Clarkson Law Group, P.C., Mr. McAlonis’ practice areas included General Litigation, Commercial Litigation, and Bankruptcy Law.

Shawn Johnson, Esq.

Shawn was raised in Henderson, Nevada, and attended the University of Nevada Las Vegas where he graduated with two Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Political Science and English. After obtaining his bachelor degrees Shawn attended the University of Indiana’s Robert H. McKinney’s School of Law and clerked for a reputable personal injury and construction defect firm in Indianapolis. Shawn graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2017. In November of 2017, Shawn swore his oath before the Nevada Supreme Court and was admitted to the practice of law.
Since Mr. Johnson’s admission to the Nevada State Bar, he has practiced in the areas of business litigation, personal injury, and workers compensation. Shawn’s diverse range of experience enables him to meet the diverse needs of our clients, whether it be navigating a contractual dispute or putting life back together after an unfortunate accident. Shawn’s experience allows him to pace with the needs of each case from its inception, negotiation, and trial.

Cheri Mrowicki, Office Manager

Ms. Mrowicki is the Office Manager at The Clarkson Law Group, P.C. She manages and oversees operational aspects of the firm; from accounting, trust accounting, payroll, human resources, staffing, collections, and all account matters. Ms. Mrowicki has more than 15 years of managerial experience and more than 20 years of experience in the field of accounting. Prior to joining The Clarkson Law Group, P.C., Ms. Mrowicki held managerial positions in the areas of community association law, master-plan and subdivision land development, construction, engineering & surveying, and home building.

Natalie Olivo, Bookkeeper/Legal Assistant

Ms. Olivo has more than 11 years of experience in the field of accounting and more than 5 years of managerial experience. Her responsibilities include the daily maintenance and processes of accounts receivables, payables, collections, invoicing, expense reports, and payment transactions. Ms. Olivo received her bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Colorado Technical University.
